Sogin obtains the UNI ISO 45001 safety certification

Sogin has been awarded the Health and Safety Management System Certificate in compliance with the UNI ISO 45001:2018 international standard, on the basis of the results of the audits conducted by the DNV-GL body between November and December 2020.
The new certification has been obtained thanks to the efforts of all the staff and certifies the completion of the complex process of migration from the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.
The awarding of the certification by a third party is the result of the Company's constant focus on maintaining and improving its production processes and reducing the risks associated with the development of its activities, while ensuring the necessary involvement of stakeholders.
With the UNI ISO 45001 certification, Sogin also confirms its commitment to increasingly aligning its business strategies with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, especially by contributing to the achievement of Goal 3 – Good health and Well-Being and Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth.
