Delegation of Chinese technicians visits the Latina nuclear power plant

A delegation of Chinese technicians from
China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and
Shanghai Electric Corporation (SEC) have visited the
Latina nuclear power plant.
During the visit, the Sogin Plant Manager, Agostino Rivieccio, illustrated the decommissioning activities of the power plant.
The delegation then visited, among other things, the LECO plant for the collection and conditioning of radioactive sludge, the construction site of the facility for cutting steam generators (boilers) and the temporary radioactive waste depot.
An event during which the mutual experiences related to nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste treatment were explored.
