Sogin's contribution to HR TRENDS

Sogin participated in the
VI edition of HR TRENDS, which took place on 4 December at the Zest Hub in Rome. The theme of this annual event, organised by
Unindustria in conjunction with
Challenge Network, was
"The Future of Training and Consulting". It was an important opportunity for discussion to explore the strategic role of human resources in transforming companies and promoting an innovative mindset. The event, opened by Giuseppe Biazzo, President of Unindustria, and Ciro Cafiero, President of the Consulting, Professional Activities and Training Section, saw the presentation of the WTW Observatory survey "Transforming innovation into value for people", by Edoardo Cesarini. At the subsequent Round Table, moderated by Roberto Santori, CEO of Challenge Network and creator of the format, Belinda Sepe, Sogin’s Director of Administration, Resources, Systems and ICT took part and shared the company's vision and initiatives.
Belinda Sepe outlined Sogin's mission, which refers to both nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management, including the siting and construction of the National Repository and Technology Park, and the industrial development of the sites, thanks to their distinctive characteristics. In her speech, she also highlighted the importance of attracting new talent in an increasingly competitive job market and investing in human capital, offering opportunities for growth, continuous training and support for the well-being of employees, as essential elements to ensure a stimulating and productive work environment. Finally, she highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in business processes and how this technology can contribute to improving productivity and creating value for the company.
The panel alternated in its discussions between Paolo Chiriotti, Chief Human Resources Officer of TIM; Daniele Piacentini, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Isola Tiberina Hospital; Gianluca Di Gioia, HR Director of Birra Peroni; Romina Chirichilli, People Director of Open Fiber and Antonella Carbone, HR Country Lead Italy at Unilever. The event ended with the presentation by Alberto Mattiello, Business Futurist. Sogin's presence at HR TRENDS 2024 demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to fostering the exchange of experiences and supporting innovation and the development of human resources, key elements for the future challenges of the sector.
