Sogin brought its know-how to the International Emergency Exhibition in Montichiari (BS), at the invitation of the
Brescia Association of Engineers.
Sogin’s operations were presented at the course held on 4 October, attended by about a hundred experts in the field, providing an opportunity to examine the issues of nuclear emergency management.
Stressing the importance of a strong safety culture, speakers stimulated a lively discussion at the end of each session, encouraging the sharing of experiences and common goals.
The course was followed by a visit to the Trino power plant on Friday, 25 October. A delegation of engineers from the Brescia Association was able to get a close-up view of the decommissioning operations at a nuclear power plant.
