The 41st Annual Assembly of the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI) took place at the Lingotto Fiere in Turin from 20 to 22 November, a crucial event bringing together representatives from local administrations throughout Italy.
This year's theme was "Let's make Italy, day by day", reflecting the dedication shown on a daily basis by many civil society players to developing the territories and communities.
The highest government offices took part in the event: at the opening, the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, and at the end of the proceedings, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni via video

Sogin was an exhibitor and illustrated the institutional activities it carries out in serving the country system to the many local administrators and visitors, with a focus on the National Repository and Technology Park (DNPT) project. It refers to infrastructure where all Italian radioactive waste will be safely stored, as has been the case in other European countries for some time.
Through this initiative, the Company confirmed its commitment to strengthening dialogue with the different local parties interested in its activities and to promoting projects, such as the NRTP, that can have a positive impact on the territories where it operates, encouraging active participation by stakeholders.
